Because our members are spread along the length and breadth of the globe, this website was set-up for timely information dissemination of the Association’s activities to our cherished members and external stakeholders. It also serves as a platform for members to showcase and market their goods and services for fellow members and external players to patronize.

ADSS-SABOSA has become a known brand with respect to Old Students Association activities in Nigeria. It might interest you to note that from conception till date, ADSS-SABOSA has recorded exponential progress that’s being made possible by the unreserved supports by members across all Sets of ADSS-SABOSA. The unity, the love and the cordial relationship that is existing among all ADSS-SABOSA members, within and across all Sets is something we all are proud of.

There are a lot of activities in the offing for ADSS-SABOSA in line with the Association’s 3-year plan, therefore, I call on both the existing and new members of the association to join hands together to take ADSS-SABOSA to the next enviable level.

Army Day Secondary School SANI ABACHA BARRACKS (ADSSSAB) Asokoro FCT-Abuja, Nigeria was founded in 1990. Initially, the name of the school was Command Day Secondary School (CDSS) SANI ABACHA BARRACKS (SAB) until this name was changed about 2-3 years after inception.

Academic activities started immediately at inception during the 1990/1991 academic year with JSS One enrollment only. The school was started within the Army barracks vicinity using facilities made available by the Army authorities under the then Lt Col Ishaya Anche who was then Commanding Officer of the 20 Battalion of the Nigerian Army. This facility which is still in use today by the school.

Under the leadership and direction of the pioneer principal, with the support of the Army authorities and an active Parents/Teachers Association (PTA) the quest to build a permanent site on a parcel of land donated by the Army authorities started in the later end of 1993. During those time, the pioneer students, supervised by committed teachers will get into the forest around the barracks area to move sawn logs to the permanent site for the erection of the school. The initial three classroom blocks at the permanent site which still stands till date was achieved through self-help by the school authorities, students, the PTA and Army authorities.

With time, support started coming in from corporate firms like the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) and the Nigerian Army in the form of furniture’s and workshop equipment respectively.

By 1996, the school achieved a major milestone with the graduation of it’s very first set. As at today, the ADSS SAB has graduated over 26 sets and has been in existence for about 32 years. Graduands of the ADSS SAB are spread across the globe and have achieved great feats in their chosen careers in medicine, engineering, sports, entertainment, media, and politics. The journey of 32 years so far for the ADSSSAB has been that of excellence, achievement and pacesetting in all respect.

For the purpose of targeting, it is worth taking care of the results until the airline takes over. The accusers, however, need that, and need some discipline. Some faintness, but always a smile.
